About the conference
This international online conference (29–31 January 2026) aims to provide a forum for researchers working on the implementation of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and its Companion Volume (CV) (Council of Europe, 2001, 2020) as well as for scholars employing Learner Corpus Research (LCR) to describe learner language at different CEFR levels. Colleagues working on the CEFR/CV and LCR are welcome to share their findings at this international online conference and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

The design of learning/teaching/assessment materials for different communicative language activities and CEFR/CV levels based on LCR results
The knowledge gained and/or challenges encountered in the use of descriptors in the learning/teaching or assessment of languages.
Some questions about how to access VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
All access information (Zoom links, Meeting ID, passcode, and any dial-in options) will be published in the “Virtual Conference” tab on the official website (see link above).
Open the Virtual Congress page and click the corresponding Zoom access button/link. If prompted, enter the Meeting ID and passcode shown on that page.
You can join:
Recommended: the Zoom desktop/mobile application (more stable and fully featured).
Alternative: a web browser (some functions may be limited compared to the app).
For organisational and audio-quality reasons, attendees join with microphone and camera disabled by default. If the moderator grants you the floor, you will receive a request to enable your microphone (and, if appropriate, your camera).
You can submit questions via Chat and/or Q&A (when enabled). If the session includes spoken interventions, the moderator will invite participants to speak and will manage the speaking order.
When parallel sessions start, use the Zoom control labelled “Breakout Rooms” (or its equivalent in your Zoom interface) to select the room by colour.
If you do not see the option, join using the Zoom app (recommended) or contact the technical team via chat for manual assignment.
You will receive a notification email once the review process has been completed.
You can also check the status of your submission anytime by logging into EasyChair.
Check your Spam / Junk folder.
Use the “Forgot your password?” option on EasyChair’s login page.
If problems persist, contact the Technical Secretariat of the conference and include your name and registration email.

Please try the following quick checks:
Click Audio and select “Join with Computer Audio” (or the equivalent option).
Confirm the correct speaker/output device is selected.
Increase your device volume and close other apps that may be using audio (e.g., Teams, Meet).
Leave the session and re-join if the issue persists.
Please join a few minutes early and have your slides ready. When it is your turn:
Click “Share Screen” and choose your presentation window (PowerPoint/PDF) rather than the full desktop, when possible.
If you cannot share, this is usually because screen sharing is restricted by default; the moderator will enable sharing for you at the appropriate time. Please notify the moderator via chat.
If your connection is weak:
Turn off your camera to reduce bandwidth.
Move closer to your router or use a wired connection if possible.
Use the telephone dial-in option if provided (numbers and instructions will be listed on the Virtual Congress page).
We invite contributions (either in English or Spanish) on the topics above in the following formats.
